According to \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/tracking.us.nylas.com\/l\/65441f02e0424558aa8a5a695c1ade8b\/2\/fbcce1a000f56c22fc27ae3fcd249ef2e45030532cd82fa0a69270503152446f?cache_buster=1764775966\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The 2026 Marketing Intelligence Report<\/a>\u201d (<em>registration required) <\/em>from marketing intelligence platform\u00a0Funnel and\u00a0Ravn Research, 72% of in-house marketers and 55% of agency marketers say they\u2019re overwhelmed by the data they collect and find it difficult to turn it into usable insight. Even more \u2014 86% of in-house and 79% of agency teams \u2014 say they can\u2019t cut through the noise to identify what\u2019s really driving performance.<\/p>\n<p>That disconnect is evident in the dashboards that many teams rely on. They may look impressive, but they often stop short of answering the question marketers care about most: what do we do next? Instead of surfacing actionable insights, too many dashboards serve up vanity metrics \u2014 clicks, impressions, followers \u2014 that aren\u2019t tied to actual business outcomes.<\/p>\n<p>Part of the problem is the sheer complexity of modern marketing. Campaigns span dozens of channels and devices, and visibility often lags. Sixty-eight percent of in-house marketers report a lack of up-to-date visibility into performance across channels. And when it comes time to report results, 41% say they don\u2019t analyze what caused the outcomes or suggest next steps.
